Most Cherokees and grands are soccer mom cars. Except for like one or two at my school.

There's a few Cherokees with work done in my town it's really hit or miss with all the models some people are in it just because it's a cool car the others are in it because it's a jeep

Gezz, people make such a big deal about "the wave". Every other day there's a new thread about got the wave or didn't get the wave. I'm so sick of hearing about I don't wave at all any more.
You anti american pos! Do you know thats a tradition started by Military service men that fought and died for our country??? Sell your Jeep to someone who is grateful to be an American citizen.

There's no need for that. He's right, imo. I wave. If I don't get a wave back, BIG DEAL. Like seriously. It's just a freaking wave. People have the right to wave or to not wave, whether they know of it or not.

You gotta be kidding

I know that its nice to get the wave, but that being said, I agree that if someone doesnt wave back its no biggie. I had to sell my jeep after my third child. My wife and I are done having kids now, we have ten, last week my kids and my wife bought me a jeep. I have to admit it was nice being back in "the club". The wave was like confirmation, "Yep, your back", but when I dont get it I dont lose my mind. Do you think that people who fly planes get pissy and nose dive if another pilot doesnt wave or tip there wings? Get a grip and grow up a little.

Lol this thread cracks me up. I wave at jeeps, not all of them... If I don't get a wave back oh well.
I wave at Cherokees like this:

And I wave at almost any wrangler.

It's a tradition and I think it's pretty cool but why let it start an argument? I'd burn out my clutch pullin any of you dudes out of a ditch, wave or not. You'd probably do it for me too. That's the "JEEP THING"

I got my new JK @ 10 months ago and no one tld me about "the wave". As I was driving home (with the top down of course), I had at least 3 people wave at me before arriving home. The first time I thought I had imagined it, the second time I was convinced they were waving at me and by the 3rd time, I was waving back!

I have to admit that sometimes (not often at all) my mind may be wandering and I totally forget to wave and feel really bad if they remember to wave at me. But, I wave to just "wave". I don't care if no one waves back b/c I just enjoy doing it. However, I would say at least over 1/2 the people do wave back, if not more.

I am a Mom but definitely not a soccer Mom....been there done that.

Now, it's my time to have fun! Sometimes I will let the hubby drive her.

Btw, hate to admit this but I was also waving at Hummers before my sweet hubby set me straight on that was not a Jeep I just waved too. Needless to say, car makes are not my thing.
