If you could buy your TJ new...

What options would you get on it?

I'd get:

I6
D30/D44
3.73 Gears
5 Speed NV3550
Dual Tops
Half Doors
Ravine Wheels
Patriot Blue

Doesn't matter what year the options were available, but you can't mix and match (No you can't put a rubi transfer case on a sport...)

Lets see what you would do

6cyl w/ the 3 spd auto and cruise control.... all the other options are/would be gone

If I were looking for ANOTHER Jeep to keep semi-normal sized, it would be a Sport w/ 3spd auto, 3.73s, D44 rear, CRUISE CONTROL(only thing my TJ didn't have), Ravine wheels(mine had Canyons originally, they are a close second favorite OEM rim), and in white w/ a black soft top.

FWIW mine is a 5spd, at the time I didn't care auto or manual... now I wish I had an auto... the 32RH specifically, not available in my 2003 though.

Ohh! I like this one:

D44
Cruise/AC (dont flame me it gets hot...)
Hard Top & Soft Top
Rubicon Wheels
Red Color
AUTO TRANSMISSION!

Did they have options for lockers from the factory? If so I would get the back locked up.

Me....

4.0
42rle

d30/44 combo
CENTER CONSOLE
Cruise Control would be pretty nice
Impact Orange, Electric Lime Green, or Patriot Blue

I would take mine, my sahara is pretty much optioned out, but I would want it with a D44 rear, and full doors and dual tops(I have both now)
Oh yeah, newer style mirrors.

Silver Wrangler X with pepper soft top. D44 rear, I6/6spd manual. Super Swampers on black 15" mountain crawlers. cruise, ac, and premium sound. and since my dealer offered safari tops and rock doors as add-ons, I'd take those too. Whose buying?

Umm... mine's basically perfect, aside from the D30/35 combo, but even that treats me just fine right now since I don't wheel it real hard. Both tops, A/C, factory sub, I got no complaints.

Come to think of it, maybe a 6speed would be a little more fun, but I don't mind the Auto.

Hey, hey guys. I hate to rain on your parade, but this thread is about your new TJ with factory options that were actually sold, not pipe dreams that would never have happened with $5 mil.
