How much should I sell my Rubi for?

Good afternoon everybody,

I am trying to buy a house and I need to sell my Jeep. I donít really want to do it, but itís for the better in the long run.

What do you think my Jeep is worth? Here is the craigslist posting:

http://cosprings.craigslist.org/cto/3666481723.html

I had a few calls on it, but these monkeys want to offer $9,000.00 to $9,500.00. No way I am selling my Rubi for that price.

Thoughts?

All depends on location... A Rubi in that condition with a bit over 100k miles wouldnt be touched here for less than 12-13k. non rubi TJs go for the 12k price range or more with similar mileage in Southern Illinois... With that being said I wish you lived closer to me because that Rubi would be sold to me right now

it really depends on location and how long you're willing to wait

The dealer wanted to give me $9,500 for it, so I feel that for a private sale 12K seems fair.

I check denver craigslist regularly and its rare to see one at $12K or less. If I was in a position to buy it I would.

So I am going to keep turning down these low offers. I had one guy explain to me that due to the economy, the Jeep price should be lower. So that means that dealerships should lower their prices because the economy is bad. Yeah right... lol.

Its only a $200 plane ticket. Head out this weekend. He might even pick you up at airport.

Ha not a chance I could do that. I guess the location is not the ONLY reason I am not in the position to buy. I have a 3 1/2 week old son at home that I will be watching Saturday while my wife is working. Im stuck to looking within the 100ish mile range for quite some time. Im ok with that I have been patient to this point.

My 03 rubi with 110k and duel top is kbb @ 13k in chicagoland

But I wouldn't go off what kbb says, price off what they are selling for within 200 miles.

That's at least a 15-16K Rubi out here in Kalifornia. I would gladly pay 12K for that if I had time to go to Colorado. Would be a fun drive back.
