How much should I pay for a 1999 TJ

I've been looking for another Jeep. My Yj bit the dust in a roll over and now I would like to have a hard top, Coil springs, real doors. I'm looking at 1989-2000
I found some at 6,999, and one with 175K miles for 8,000 Flat head six.
So what the word on the web???

Differant areas of the country seem to have very differant pricing. 7k seems ok for my area, but try craigslist. I buy alot of vehicles on there, but you have to be the first or second with cash in hand to get deals.

I paid 7,000 for my 98 Tj and it had 100,000 miles on it. Idaho and Utah jeeps markets are probably pretty comparable.

The Best I saw was a 99 for 8K in this area. But I found another 95 YJ for 4800 that was immaculate with 150k on the clock so I bought it.

Thanks for all your response. Got to go haft time is over.

I believe with enough patience, you should be able to find one with decent mileage for $6500 in pretty good shape.

I paid 6k for a 98 with 95k miles back in August. Needed a fuel tank skid and new door hinges. Best. Purchase. Ever.
