1991 with 156K plus 10% for the oversize tires. Original needs a timing chain starting to get a bit noisy

Just turned 144k runs good but need to get the exhaust fixed. Previous owner broke 2 maifold bolts off in the head changing the manifold. I hope the shop can fix it next week. I still drive it everyday just sounds like a pulp wood truck and the check engine light is on.

Driven every day.

I am assuming about 104K miles considering the beast has had big tires on it most of its life, without speedometer re-gearing. Spits oil out, but runs smooth, like a timex.

An 87 2.5 shouldn't have a check engine light. It only has an "EMIS MAINT" light. And that's just turned on by a timer under the dash for you to take the jeep to the stealership so they can sell you an O2 sensor. If you look on the firewall under the dash, you'll see a clear box next to the gas peddle. Unplug it and the light will go away.
