How to lower front driver seat?

Hey guys!

Brand new to the forums and jeep wranglers. I did a search but might've missed it, but does anyone know how to mod the driver seat to get it lower than the lever allows? I'm really tall (6'6") and driving stick can be kind of a hassle. Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,

Mina

You need to fill out your profile. What year is your jeep?

If the JK seat brackets are like the YJ and TJ brackets then the sliders can be removed. This will lower the seat about an inch. Once this is done you will need to drill new holes in the seat pan to mount the seat to the bracket. If you go this route you may also want to mount the seat back to give you some additional leg room.
