Those are actually my plates, but the photos are from Hollister Hills OHV in California, as I moved out here about a little over a month ago. I actually bought the Jeep on a Friday in August and then Monday morning at 4am I got in with a friend and drove to Cali =) I was from Stamford though.

I hope you like CA.
How did the JK do cross country. I guess great! It got you there. Is it comfortable enough for those 15 hour days driving across Tex & NM?

I was shocked at how comfortable it was. I towed a trailer that weighed over 1000 lbs as well, and it did a great job. We did 17 hours the first day and about 15ish every other day and at no time was I fatigued or drained from driving. It helped that I was so excited I had my new Jeep that I didn't ever want to get out of it =) but I was shocked at how well it drove across the country. That being said, I did it with the stock tires on, not the mudders on it now.

These made a world of difference off road too.
I figured there was minor rubbing. I definitely am going to do a 2" BB. But the tires will more than likely will come first. God, I can't wait to get out wheelin' again...I'm at work right now making the money to pay for the beast!

As far as wheel travel goes, you can get away without the BB if you get wheel spacers and push them out a little bit. I think that is what I'm going to end up doing. At full excursion I still had about 3-4 inches of space in the wheel well.

Nice! There are SOOO many things I want to do, all at once too! But I can't. Makes me sad.

I spent a nice afternoon at Tuttle Creek ORV yesterday with some of my buds. It was a blast! I couldnt have been more happy with the rig. The suspension, lockers and sway bar-disconnect worked well together. I am having trouble trusting myself with the 6-speed but I got it figured out pretty quick. My full traction 3 inch suspension flexxed well and the Toyos were great on the rocks! I ran about 8 PSi and they gripped well. The only thing that flexxed that I didnt want to was my lod rear bumper....too much wobble with the tire carrier off-road. No body damage but dusty as heck. Here are some pics.

The Adirondack mountains are pretty nice =) But I'm not sure if there is any OHV access there. The pic is definitely awesome though.

Except if Jeep had taken the picture- they would have completely detailed the jeep before taking the shot

This shot the jeep is dirty- it's REAL
