People in Illinois are snobs, and can't drive. Hence why I'd tell anybody invading the US to place the nuke in Illinois first.

And I've gotten almost all the same responses in this thread. I've walked out of the gas station to a group of dudes standing around it and checking it out a couple times.

Had some hippie and his son from Oregon stop me at the gas station today to tell me it was a beautiful jeep. I've never seen someone try to get so close so many times with the dog in the back.

i had a guy come up to me at a gas station yesterday and tell me that a few days ago he saw the best looking jeep he'd ever seen with big tires an everything. he was talking about one of the jk mall-crawlers around here. not a word about mine lol

The best compliments are the most subtle:

- pretty chicks who wave or smile when they would have normally not even given my ugly self the time or day.

- observing people checking out my rig when they don't know I am watching, having a look underneath or calling a buddy over to have a look.

- when I put my first lift, on a 10 year old girl yelled out of a car window at a gas station: "hey mister! Nice Jeep!"
