highest compliment anyone has ever paid your YJ?

The other day I was out running errands and I had to meet up with my wife and swap the kid so she could go one way while I went the other. After all the dust had settled, and we were back home, she said to me "you know I've never really thought much of you and your Jeeps, but when you pulled into the parking lot I had to admit, this one really 'fits' you. It really matches your personality and you look good driving it." That's probably the nicest thing she's ever said about any of the Jeeps I've owned.

What's the best compliment you've ever received about your YJ?

I have a very dry sense of humour in case you haven't already noticed but I hope that you (and your wife) got a laugh. Life is short and we can never laugh too much.

I checked out the pic of your jeep on your profile and it is pretty cool. Have a nice day!

I have had people ask to fornicate with it. Not sure if they were serious because the answer is the same either way.

Shortly after putting in the OME lift some stranger offered me $6k on the spot without asking any questions on mechanical condition or any problems. Offered me the $6k even after I told him it wasn't for sale, he was very persistent, but courteous.

That was the first day I was ever truly aware of any envy for my Jeep.

Got a similar story after I bought my yj which was still bone stock. I took the hardtop off and doors as soon I got it home. I took my buddies for a ride and pulled into a gas station to get a drink. One of my buddy's dad was there by coincidence saw it and offered 4700. Now since lifted I had offers up to 7k.

Nobody around here likes it. Everyone is extremely uppity. I get a lot of sneers though lol. I think the nicest thing anyone has said was to correct me in saying that I have a 6cyl not a 6.0. To which I responded by opening the hood. They said cool and walked away

had a young girl in her 20"s come up and ask me for a ride. said she really likes cool jeeps. I'm 65 so it must have been the jeep.

Someone yelling nice jeep when driving down the highway. This was hard top and full doors on, stock height just some bigger tires. Wasn't even dirty.
