Huh, I guess I had always thought that CJ-5's would have the same style gate as CJ-7's... Thanks for the information! Hmmm.... maybe I should get a CJ-5 for a designated trail rig...

They are great off road but let me tell ya all those times I prayed for TJ to take my CJs place, the Jeep has been fairly high maintenance in the past years and if I knew what was coming I would have certainly got a TJ. I love the CJ but you got to remember the average CJ is 30+ years old by now and stuff is worn out.

I'm a sophomore in high school, and just bought my first car last weekend, a silver Cherokee sport with 183K. It runs like a champ, and i absolutely love it. I threw on my dads old Yakama rack. We'll see what it ends up looking like.

I'm still a TEEN! lol 19 and just finished my first year at college. I have a 97 Wrangler, 31" Stealth Armor on American Racing, Homemade recovery points, hi-lift mount on hood, custom exhaust, and i love doing my own work. Saving up for a lift. College takes your money away. Get a SCHOLARSHIP lol I paid $400 for books, and sold them back and got $124. go me.

How do you guys in high school afford a Jeep. I was lucky to own a 16 year old Ford Galaxie beater when I was in high school.
