Hide-A-Key Location
Where would ya'll suggest for a Hide-A-Key location on a TJ? This is to help those with a hard top.

I don't tell that stuff.
But, I would not use magnetic hide-a-keys. Use an actual screw/nut/bolt though the key to hold it in place.

you could "zip tie" it almost anywhere. even inside the air filter housing, or even suspend it inside your coolant bottle.

Inside the PDC (power distribution center) inside the engine compartment on the passenger side, in front of the battery. There's plenty of space inside there and I doubt any thief would look inside there for the key.

don't use a magnetic hide-a-key. someone will find it.
I knew a guy, who knew a guy, who had a friend.....whatever....guy put his hide-a-key against the inside of the stock bumper. Good place right? His truck was stolen with that key.

i used to put mine inside the center caps of my wheels. happy hiding!

Inside the fuse box under the hood. Especially since most people don't know that there's not a hood release inside the car.

I put mine under the hood under the brake booster, its black so can't really see it, and don't need to get inside to open the hood
|
