Hi, my name is Jon, and I'm a Jeep addict.

So I was having an early mid-life crisis and sold the commuter for my '04 LJ.

The day I purchased it, I was critiquing every flaw, and the seller said, "why are you worried about that... you are going to off-road it anyway." Of course I got defensive and insisted I was going to keep it stock.

Hahah yeah well 3 months later, and I cannot stop spending money on it.. now looking at corners, gears, and bigger tires. There are too many places dedicated to these things and I cannot stop looking at mods.

So last week, I was just starting to rationalize selling it, but my buddies and I went to Hollister hills last Sunday, and I'm infected again.

Is there any vaccine or cure for it? Please help.

The only cure I have been able to find is death. There are way worse inflictions!

Be very careful with the wife mod. Uninstallation can be extremely expensive. Wife mods have been known to take the Jeep and all other mods during the uninstall process. Also, make sure you service your wife mod properly as often as humanly possible. Wife mods not properly serviced may malfuction or uninstall themselves at any time.

Hhhiiii JJonnnn!!!
I'm Jim. Jeep,aholic

5 ways to know when you're addicted to Jeep!

1-When you replace perfectly good tires with 33's only to do it again for 35's!!
2-When you can't buy your kid braces because you spent the money on braces for your D44's!!
3-When Vallet parking requires a spotter and the use of 4-low!!
4-When your spare tire mount requires the use of tail light extensions!!
5-When a near fatal accident is narrowly avoided, leaving only scratches on the roof of the other guys car and on your trans'skid!!

There is no known cure, though with a good program it can be successfully managed.

"Just keep coming back"

A wife maybe? Unless she owns a jeep to and likes to offroad it, then I'm sorry I haven't found a cure yet.

Studies have indicated the addiction to Jeeps is something deemed incurable, once you drive one it's guaranteed, once you take one off road it's permanent! "the Jeep thing" that is what they call the addiction. Now you will find yourself putting money into your "Jeep account" for your Jeep only! Have fun!

Ya I have this problem as well my tires have a few thousand left on them and I keep trying to justify going to 33s, I think I'm going to new 33s next week winter is coming and it made up my mind. I guess there are far worse things to be addicted too, every one has to have a vice, mine is the jeep.

Guys hello, yes my addiction continues. So my wife is telling me that every time a fedex/ups truck drives by she cringes knowing I've bought something new. This week it was a winch and winch mount.

What should I do?

UPS tracking says it will be here monday, wife decided last week to take a vacation day on "monday"
Looks like strategic "interception" is in order

there was an injection for the Jeep Sickness, but the french watered it down before they shipped it, like they do with every vaccine.

Now were stuck with an outbreak of jeep addicts, We spend all kind of money preparing for a zombie outbreak, when in reality, We are the zombies.
