HELP Paid $200 and never received my ITEM!!!

I was on the classifieds about a month and a half ago maybe even longer and bought Tube doors from Letsride. I didn't hesar from him til about a week or two weeks later saying he shipped it. He said it was hard to find a box to ship it. I haven't seen it since. Its been so SO long. I PM him already but still no answer for weeks now. I just sent out another PM today. HELP!!!

How did you pay him? If its PayPal you can file a dispute through them, if he has taken the funds out and severed the link to his accounts its a different story. Any verified PayPal will also show you the address of the person sending and receiving money (at least mine shows it). Do you have an email address for him?

That sucks.... I would dispute it like he ^ said, you can even call your credit card company and do the same thing, but hopefully it hasn't been too long though since you ordered it.

Who would screw over a soldier. Did he say how he shipped it? Most companies have tracking numbers.

For the next person that is thinking about bypassing the fee for the seller. Take note of this and the windshield frame mess from a few days ago. It's a business transaction with a stranger, they need to pay the fee so you don't end in this position.

I was just thinking the same thing. Even as a buyer I don't mind paying a bit extra in fees for the insurance it gives.

on most used parts i include the 3% sellers fee and enough room for someone to make an offer. Thats the best practice for selling.

don't advertise that they must include 3% that looks bad, because, it is bad.

as a buyer, NEVER get something without tracking. ups and fedex give you tracking and 100$ insurance automatically just by using thier service, there is no way around this, it goes right on the tag.

As a seller, never ship somethign without insurance, until its in the buyers hands its your responsability.

if you google that email address, he is active on several forums online. Lexus, etc..., try posting messages or PM'ing him on those sites.

For example he is user "letsride" from Greensboro N.C. on a honda site http://www.ht-archive.com

It looks like the email address of some kind of car club for mini cars in North Carolina.. So he is probably a principal member. Here is a link to the site, it has the same email address.

EDIT: Damn, TheDragonfly types too damn fast
