help me decide 2015 Sahara hardtop?

trying to decide on matching color for the additional cost or standard black.

Does the standard black top discolor at all?

I'd get color matching top, yes the standard top fades over time

I like how my colour match top and fenders look. When I get around to replacing the fenders with aftermarket ones, they'll get painted body colour.

I'd go with the standard black. I really don't notice any discoloring but it could have faded over time. If you're taking it on and off and leaving it on a garage floor, it's likely to get scratched. If you get the standard black, a hit with flat black paint or a Sharpie will take care of it well enough. Just depends on what you're ok with. I'm touching mine up pretty often and couldn't imagine having a color matched top. My kid also dropped a corner on the floor once. A bit of epoxy and black paint and it's barely noticeable. And it's easier to sell if you ever want to get rid of it since it works on any color Jeep.

The standard black top is painted and I haven't noticed any fading. If it's taken care of and waxed it will hold up. Mopar sells touch-up paint for the hard top. Paint code PXF.

Garage
If you have reason to sell the hardtop in the future, the black will sell more easily.

I agree with glenn-91YJ though - get half-doors!

^ what said!

I think the new black tops hold up pretty well, but im generally a fan of the body color to match the Sahara fenders.

What color are you thinking?
