Great Weekend of Wheeling

Lately I have been reading on the forum and it seems like everyone is having issues with their rigs.

I just wanted to let you guys know that I wheeled every day this weekend Friday/Saturday and Sunday. And I had a great time with my new 3" BDS and 255/85R16's on my old trusty Jeep. I probably put on over 15 miles offroad here in Western NY and it was a blast. I pulled a tractor out of a huge mud pit with my winch. I saw the biggest rocks I have ever seen in my life. I got to use my lockers on a few hill climbs and through some deep wash outs. I did not get to take any pictures but the weekend experience was amazing.

I have been away from wheeling for 5 years and it feels great to be back in it. The only damage I incurred was my rear tailpipe got crushed, so I cut it off flush at the muffler. I will be upgrading this as soon as possible.

Anyone else have a great weekend of wheeling?

That's great to hear. In the last 3 weeks, I've hit up the Milton sand pits near Burlington, VT, the Pine Barrens in South Jersey, and a decent spot in Troy, NY. All I can say is that I've been having an awesome summer in my Jeep. Luckily, I have yet to break anything major but I'm keeping my fingers crossed.

My Jeep is consistantly covered in some kind of mud inside and out and you wouldn't believe some of the comments I hear on a regular basis. I think my favorite was this one: a lady in her 40s (I'm 20) pulled up next to me at a stop light and said "So, you like to get dirty huh?" in a flirty provacative tone. Her kids were in the car with her! Unfortunately I didn't have time to come back with something witty before the light changed and went our separate ways.
