That's a tough one to "celebrate"

its the same jeep.
-same tires and rims
-same stickers in windshield
-same steering stabilizer
-same oversized fender flares

im not saying he isnt bull****ting but depending on the time difference between the accident and him posting this thread he could of got a lot of stuff done. I could probably do most of the work hes done (snorkel, painted grill and hinges, step bars, lights on and off etc) in one day. So its def plausible. You can see that the fenders are all dented up and still tweaked in the "present" day photo.

I really doubt the license plate would get much mud if any on it. Besides being in the back where mud cant get sprayed on it he has wider than stock flares. My jeeps front tires arent covered at all from my fenders being cut and my rear tires stick half way out and i still dont get any mud on my plate even when playing in serious mud. That Plastic dip stuff easily peels off which wouldnt make it hard for him to cut out the arrows on his turn signals.

He did say he was in the process of putting the snorkel on after the accident. And just cause the jeep broke down after the accident and it didnt have all the stuff painted and what not doesnt mean he didnt do it after all that.

just my opinion on the whole situation.

Yeah, dwbrown should be banned for that comment. This is a family friendly forum. A mod should also delete this thread, I think Hinkley has had enough and maybe learned something.

That statement is way off base and totally uncalled for. We have a lot of slack in what we can get away with on this forum which is another reason that JeepForum is the best but you took way too far. Iím sure it was funny at the time but hopefully you can see that it doesnít belong here.

I sure hope the reason it hasnít been deleted yet is because a moderator hasnít seen it. I had been banned from this site a few years ago for a week or two and it was no where near the crap or subject that you posted. Comments like that are funny around the campfire with a bunch of guys but hereÖ

Brutal thread...not really sure what to make of it all. I do agree however how any accident like this shouldn't be celebrated and that his actions towards the person he hit left alot to be desired.
