Unless they just jazzed up a JK, many wrangler guys are going to scoff at the JL anyway. It's always been that way.

It's not terrible IMO. The lower corners are tapered a bit like the Renegade which is very off putting to many but in no way does it look like the Renegade. Either way, looks very concept-ish anyway. Too small of a grille opening for a Wrangler, even if it works for stock it's certainly not going to fly in the modded world.

I'm not crazy about the rake of the windshield, but I do understand that it's necessary.

Ive got a cj5 had a wj and also have an xj. When the jk came out I didn't like them either. Didn't really like the 4door but they kinda grew on me and depending how the jku is set up I kinda like them too. And like it that more family's can go together now. I don't think this one looks bad with the exception of the grill, and the door windows would take a little warming up to but I really don't think much of it will make production either. Fingers crossed at least! That's also why I jumped on a jk now cause every time the new model comes out the used prices go up and hard to find for that simple fact.

Non removeable doors and non folding windshield.

There is no splash line to the rear fenders so the fenders will look mall crawler clean at all times unless you DO go off road and rip the plastic sill extension off with the first small stick you push up from the front tires.

Excuse me a moment while I go purge my lunch...

I think the folding windshield went away a long time ago. When I had my 82 CJ7 I could drop my windshield in about 3 minutes and a little walk around to strap it down.

On my 2014 I have to take apart half the front to get it to drop.

I did have a water leak on my CJ that would drip on my left foot. I took a plastic soda bottle and it above my foot under the dash and tied it in. Worked great to redirect the water.

I have taken the doors off of the JKU but not very often. If I get another one the windshield folding does not bug me as much as the non removable doors.

Just my two bits

I don't think that's it. For one, the hood is all wrong. Someone bought a hood at a junkyard in MI and accidentally got a JL hood. It was about the same as the JK but 2" longer.

So the doors won't come off on the JL?

I'm just glad that I bought my JKU when I did. If the front looks anything like that photo, everyone may confuse it with a Liberty!

It's an obvious photoshop and not worth discussion. That's NOT what the JL to will look like, period.

If that is not photoshopped that is the ugliest Jeep I have ever seen. I actually kind of like the way the Renegade looks but that is the inbred offspring of a Wrangler and Renegade which is not good.

The only good thing going on here is that it has no front turn signals so we know for a fact that is not the final product.

Turn signals could be in that pocket in the bumper in front of the wheels.
