Flat Black Jeep.....

For everyone thats wanted to see a TJ with a flat black paint job. I used John Deere Blitz Black, ran through a 1.4mm HVLP air gun. Took about a month from start to finish. but everything is done all door jams the hood is complete and everything was taken off before i painted it. Its not perfect but its 1000 times better than before...

diggin the murdered out look, need some flat black rims to go with it

edit: now that I look at it more, the gloss rims set it off nicely

No i cant currently find any before shots and it slipped my mind to take any. But it was pretty bad before.

Couln't you use some steel wool on those wheels to take the shine off? Just a thought.

It was Black before i started so that made it alot easier, and i am just going to paint the rims in the next couple weeks ive been putting off getting them unmounted.

I used VHT Nightshades, it looks black but for the most part they still shine orange, although i think that it is a little to thick.

i think once the wheels are done, and hopefully some black center caps, it will look 10xs better
