Easy Question

Tried the search feature but because i don't know what its called made it hard.

What is the strap that attaches to the door and keeps it from swinging completely open called?

I don't know about an official name but most refer to it as a "Door Limiting Strap".
Keep in mind that free advice can frequently be worth less than you pay for it.

Quadratec calls the nylon ones "door check straps" and the aluminum ones "door stops"

What are doors?....

Just kidding. The PO of mine broke all the screws off of them so I have none right now. Been meaning to repair them but just havent gotten around to it.
89 YJ with a 5.2l V8, 5 Speed ax-15, RC aals giving me 1.5" of lift plus 1" lift shackles giving me a total of 2.5" of lift, 31x10.5x15 A/T tires, no carpet, rinolined tub, Family style roll bar.

If you have windshield mounted mirrors you may find that the straps allow too much travel and knock the mirrors. I created 'adjustable' straps with 1/8 braided steel cable and cable clamps from Home Depot.
