I've got wedge-style blindspot mirrors. I think they were $6/pair at autozone, perform the same job. They tend to last about a year or so, if you clean the mirror glass properly.

Not needing to twist your head around to see your blindspot is very nice. You end up with much better situation awareness because blindspot checks become part of your typical scan, rather than only when you're changing lanes.

Wish I could tell you about those mirrors in particular.

I've got some decent spot mirrors on it now, but they've come off three times now. I clean the mirror with an alcohol swab and let dry. I re attached once with turners tape, which is a super duty double sided tape used by wood turners and I've used epoxy the last time. So that's gonna be a little tricky to clean off without scratching the mirror outside of the spot mirror area.

I have some round blind spot mirrors on both mirrors cost me $.99 and they last about 2 years, then they fall off and I replace them, it will take me 174 years to make up the $87 your going to spend.

my dad has some small round blind spot mirrors on his truck. they have been on there for over 2 or 3 years...have yet to fall off. i forget how much they cost but they were not expensive at all. probably the same ones RogueSpear is talking about.

I hate the little round ones, personally. The wedges seem to work best for me.

If I needed to replace the mirrors anyway, I'd look into those in the OP.

I had the little round ones. The work kinda, not any good at night in the rain. Now I've got some that have a little foot on them and are about 1.5x2.5" and adjustable. There pretty good, when there not falling off.
I'm a big mirror freak, after driving truck and having to rely on mirrors and with the soft top in our wet winters the windows regularly fog up.
Thought these mirrors would be nice. Beside's I can sell the old mirrors to one of you to offset the cost

I've got these on my Astro

There really nice. There out of the UK and I got them before the Euro. Think the were $45 shipped. Now there about $80 with the euro/dollar, UK tax, UK export tax, shipping.

Nah. See, if we need new mirrors, we're going to buy these:

I hear they are $87 a pair, with the 10% discount code, from autobarn with free shipping.

Wait! What? We use the Euro now? I think Brussels forgot to tell us.

I don't know about y'all, but I don't have blind spots... if you have all 3 mirrors lined up perfectly there's nothing to worry about. Been true for every vehicle I've ever driven.

Every vehicle I've ever driven has a spot large enough for a sedan, if not larger. It extends rearward from around rear axle to about 1 car length behind, in the adjacent lane. You can see this spot by turning and looking over your shoulder, through the rear, side window in front of the "C" pillar but can't see it from your mirrors. For some reason, people like to change lanes directly into this spot. If you pull a trailer, they would be right next to it, and invisible.

Try a blindspot mirror. As you pass someone, watch your regular mirrors - they will disappear from the side mirror entirely before appearing in the rear-view. With a wedge-shaped blindspot mirror, they remain visible the entire time.
