I ask because the topic came up at my workplace down at the shop, and the chat got heated for a minute.

I think so... Kinda unless you have more than 1 car.... I have a buddy with 2 1000hp+ d-maxes, a show truck on 42s, a completely restored cj5 pimped out by poison Spyder, and a tj with everything from genright you could imagine.

And a jetta ....

I'd deffiantly say it says something about the person. Even if you were to say I don't care what I drive and bought the cheapest car you could find to get from point A to B it still says something about who you are. Maybe something like your practical and how you get there doesn't matter as long as you do etc...

hahaha, i was wondering when the punch line was gonna get in there!

Definitely around here, prius drivers are the worst and have the holy than thou attitude and haven't figured out that they do have gas in the cars and can ACCELERATE! while subaru drivers over here just dont give a cr@p about whats going on behind them and run a moving road block with the car next to them and dont let people pass causing a traffic block going for a mile back...

Usually yes, but it depends on which vehicle if it's a case of having more then one. I have a daily driver Civic that is simply for getting to work with decent mpg, and should it get totaled it's not a big deal. It's simply my work vehicle, which it does pay for my life.

Yea lol i hate it when he drives the jetta. They are literally the coolest trucks on the planet. And a silver jetta.

Hes got well over 100k in each duramax. Ones a 2011 and the other is an 06.he got both of them new off the lot with 0 miles. And he drives the jetta because gas is expensive... Da faq?

To a point. I've got a Toyota Yaris as a daily driver/commuter car, a slightly lifted Dodge Ram 1500 4x4, a lifted/locked TJ, a lifted/locked flat fender, a Dodge Minivan, and a Kia Sorento 4x4. So I must have multiple personalities. Or I'm married with kids and seem to collect vehicles like cats.

Picture from my DITY move last summer from WA to TN.
