Currie vs warrior tube doors

So I just got a $109 fine for no doors on the tj and it's much too hot out to run my full doors . Looking at the currie or the warrior doors. Anybody running either? Pros/cons?

Thanks!!

I did a search but not too much info on either(especially currie)

I have the WP doors and LOVE them, mine also have padle handles and locks. The locks are not to keep people out, but to keep people from running off with your doors. After a year there is no sign of wear, or powdercoating scratchs. The WP doors follow the lines of the jeep better too.

I like the WP one better, they are alot closer to no doors than the currie ones, and if the cops still give you a hard time, you can buy the mesh fot it, and it looks closer to a half door.

However they both dont have vertical support at the hindges, only the ORFAB ones do.

I would got with the WP ones IMO

Oh and the olympic ones look like crap, I mean seriously they look like somthing that was attached to my back yard swing set in 84.

Did the wp's come with locks or did u add them? None of the sales info says or shows anything about locks.

What's up with everyone getting tickets recently for riding with no doors? I'm a deputy sheriff in NC and would never pull over anyone for riding doorless(my doors are off right now, lol) , just seems like such a waste of time.

Sorry to hear that dude . I would have thought BC was more progressive than that . I drive in Manitoba , Sask. and Ont. and no problem as long as you have external mirrors .

So this is the law, 7.09

Doors — Doors shall be installed in a vehicle where the vehicle was manufactured with doors.

The doors with which a vehicle is equipped shall be in good working order, and any hinge, latch or handle must not be broken, missing or inoperable.

The doors shall not be warped, twisted or weakened to the extent that a slight jar will open them.

A door shall be capable of being opened or closed with normal effort.

It does NOT say factory original just that the doors must be installed, be in working order & be secure. So I would say tubular doors which use the factory hinges & latch should be acceptable. And I like the Warrior Doors best also.

I have wondered about the fact that the Owners Manual TELLS you the doors are removable. But the wording is pretty clear. Unless it is a CJ5 the doors must be installed. Of course it does not say they must be closed..... Unhook the limit strap & tie them both wide open over the hood.

I know this wasn't one of your choices, but I like the Bestop element doors.
