And to think, it's only going to get worse. I'm worried what it's going to be like this time next year. I remember last year was the first time it ever went over $1.00 here in Canada.. and now it's at $1.45

This is per litre, correct?

1 litre = ~0.26 gallons. So, (1.45)x(3.85)=$5.56 per gallon.

I'd say they were paying quite a bit more than us.

I found an old reciept in my CJ7 last week. It was dated back in 2001, when we kept our Jeep at our cabin in Shaver Lake. Now keep in mind that gas is always more expensive up there because they have to truck it. But when I saw this price, It made me drop to the floor....

$1.71/ gallon

My mom asks me why i keep driving and i say cause i like my YJ, I think she thinks im sellin drugs or something but im not that stupid. oh ya and the price for a gallon out here is like 4.19 give or take a few cents.

I'd love to just cruise in my Jeep. But money and time do not always allow me to do so.

Whenever I do make it to land, I ride around all the time in my Jeep, gas prices be damned. I will continue to do so and will continue to drive my JK until gasoline is outlawed in this country.

I just been out for a run, have got an excuse as I'm bedding in my new ring & pinions & Detroit's. Gotta get 500 miles on it then drop the oil before next week. 500 miles I know doesnt sound a lot but we are paying approx $8 a gallon (US) & it's really killing me. My Toyota mk1 MR2 daily driver returns about 30mpg, the Jeep seems to be on about 10mpg since I went 4.88's/35's. Mind you I can get my 03 Honda Fireblade(CBR954RR) down to about 15mpg if I get a bit carried away with my right hand...

Tonight had the roof on but all the windows & upper doors off, well it was pissing it down.

We hop in the YJ and cruz the beach at sunset. About a 3 mile loop.
It just makes the stress melt away. So ya, its worth a couple bucks in gas to spend some time with my honey. And the wife too!...

No doors and no top every chance I can get.... If there's no reason that I need to be home, I'm out in the Jeep somewhere... Sometimes I just grab a guitar and head to one of the parks and jam out some tunes... That reminds me... I need to get those folding chairs from the barn and keep them in the back of the Jeep...
