Let's see:
2007 JK with tax, title and license, $35,000
Front Bumper $455
Rear Bumper $415
Warn Winch $800
Black Diamond Lift $730
Bilstein 5100 shocks $129 X 4 =$516
Alpine head unit $400
Alpine 4 channel amp $200
Alpine subwoofer amp $260
Infinity Components $130
Infinity Coaxials $100
JBl Subwoofer $200
Sub Box $50
PIAA Fog Lights $225
Regearing $1300
Hello Black Maxx 6 Wheels $140 X 5 = $700
BFG AT 315/70-17 tires $269 X 5 = $1345
Fuel Filler Door $100
Grab Handles (estimated) $50
Total $43,201
This does not include money spent on allignment, rebalancing etc. that I went through when trying to resolve a death wobble and some other miscellaneous labor expenses. I figure with all that other stuff, it's close to $44,000.
I sometimes wonder what I would get for it if I sold it right now. I wonder what I would get on ebay for it.

Wow, if I did this I don't know if I would be really proud or really depressed! I just compartmentalize everything...keep it all separate... I keep a stack of receipts for everything I buy for the Jeep and/or have installed, etc...and once in a while I think about sitting down and adding it all up...but do I really want to know the answer? I ticked through it mentally a while back and it caused me to go out and have a Ravelco security system installed....and Tuffy console, etc...and then those receipts went on the stack...it just never ends! It kinda makes you paranoid! The old adage about the 3 F's almost needs to be updated to include Jeeps...("If it floats, flies, or F***s - rent it!"). Then again, we already have our own: Jeep - Just empty every pocket!

Ive been customizing vehicles for over half my life. There are three rules I've learned to live by.
1. Never say you're 'done'
2. Never mod on credit, or borrow to mod
3. Never ever no never no.... Do not put your mod list and prices on paper for ANYONE other than an insurance agent.

my brother warned me NOT to add it all up because it would make me sick.
I will admit that I refinanced the house and got some cash back to blow on the Jeep....!!!

I glanced through my stack - damn you for making me do that - and it turns out I'm pretty freaking crazy, but I won't be listing it all here for the same kind of reasons ge2 mentioned. I live too close to the border here!

I've been doing the same but i'd subtract you're #3 and add my own.
3. You will never get out what you put into it.
