I was looking at getting a Volant Performance CAI kit to upgrade from the original. I was wondering if anyone has this or knows someone who does and how it does as a replacement. It's a birthday present. The Jeep is a 2006 Wrangler and this is one of the modifications that the owner really wants to do. Thanks for info!

If your seriously looking to upgrade the oem filter box to a cai that runs anywhere from $2-300 IMO
Don't do it safe your money, the best you can do is maybe dropping a better filter in place of the oem filter, which might cost you $ 40-50

The claims these companies put out there of HP gains of 20-30 etc it's all hype and lies, I just bought a volant system for my 2011 jk unlimited and barely feel any difference from stock.

Hope that helps to learn more go to search button top right and search" volant cai"
