Buying Wrangler Unlimited today...worth upgrading to sahara?

Im planning on picking up my 2013 Wrangler Unlimited today...first Jeep I've ever had. My plan is to save the cash and go with basically a stock soft top sport then upgrade on my own. The sahara looked like all I'd pay for is the nav and better ratios and wheels, but I won't be off roading much [definitely not extreme] and can upgrade everthing myself. Probably wont use navi. Is it worth upgrading to sahara? Am I missing something? Also anyone like white? My wife says im crazy for thinking of getting white.

Advice??

If you are talking your basic Sport - it might not have air conditioning - if that matters.
Check for power doors/windows - if that matters.

Sahara is the "luxury" trim package; leather seats, power stuff, and most noticeable are the body matched flares/top. My buddy has a JKU Sahara and regrets it all the time. He paid more for stuff that he ended up either removing anyways (flares) or things that get ruined easier when running topless/doorless.

I say pass.

Cheers

Don't bother with Chrysler's navigation systems. Both the 430N and the 730N are garbage and aren't worth the price. Get the base stereo, pull that sucker out, sell it, and go aftermarket with a nav. If you end up getting a Jeep with the steering wheel controls, any audio shop can easily make them work with a new unit.

I went with the sport, only options were 3.73 gears and A/C.

Although on a 4 door I would have wanted power windows, 2 door no need.

We got a white 2013 JKU sport and white sucks to keep clean. My wife picked the white and regrets it. Looks awesome cleaned up but hard to maintain. And pass on the Sahara.

What he said. Add the hard top if you want too.
