Bought another Jeep

I came across a 60th anniversary TJ on a family visit to NH over this past weekend. I couldn't help myself and bought it. The guy was asking $3000.00 for it. When all was said and done I got it for $1000.00! Like most New England vehicles it suffers from rust. The usual, front fenders and the frame are in VERY rough shape. Along with the Jeep I got 2 soft tops and the bows, two replacement front fenders and all kinds of extra stuff. The interior is in real nice condition and it has a Kenwood stereo and the A/C works!!!. The very best part is that the long block was replaced 2 years ago. According to the paperwork the odometer is showing 200k but the motor has only 48k on it since the install. I'll be driving north to trailer it south to NC shortly and tearing into it right away. I found a rust free frame for it already in SC. The price for the frame was just about the same as the price for the frame repair parts needed, so I'm replacing the frame instead. I pick it up next week.
I'll post some photos as I go. Here's some picks of it in NH

Now I remember why I was glad to move from CT to VA.

NC / N Ga is even better! You should see my YJ! Jeep frames do rust here too though. That darn wet sand inside the frame issue!
