If I were to remove the 3 stock flare pieces.. do they sell a nice black kit which can re-use that stock turn signal position?

most of the aftermarket fender flares reuse the stock front signal on the fender in the same location. It also screws back on without the flares.

Made my decision after looking at dozens of pics and reading pages and pages of opinions for hours. Got the blacks. Am currently painting all the rusty parts which ruin the look of the wheel. I did not get the chrome center caps. They cost extra and would have looked crappy anyway. I did white lettering out, going against most peoples opinion of "black wheels, lettering IN" choice.. I like the lettering and my tires are brand new anyway.

Once I get my final side pic, I will photoshop out the lettering. If I like it more, I will pay them to swap the tires again. I got 1 non matching valve stem so i have to go back anyway.

VERY NICE! I would stick with the white letters out, just look better on your Jeep. I would also look into selling the BFG's you have now and using the cash to get a set or 31's or 32's once the lift is in.

There are no BFG's to sell. Those are the same tires. I plan no lift at the moment. I am trying not to throw tons of money into this, none of which I will get back. I was even thinking about passing it on, but I know I'd regret it. Just a shame I bought it at the end of Summer so I can't really enjoy it much. and it has to take space in my garage so my new car has to always be outside. I'm not happy.. I need a chocolate brown hardtop.. but not for $1500..

Looking good man, nice choice on the white letters out too. I think it looks better with the black wheels because it gives it some contrast. Im sure you can find a used hard top in good shape for less then 400 maybe even less if you can wait it out and then just paint it brown.

ya i agree w the contrast. it was just too "tan" and boring before. At least it has something to look at now. Also, i agree with the lettering. I'm glad I dont want to swap it. It would be "too" black if i had the lettering inward.

I have to go back today or tomorrow for a new valve stem. I specified standard black valve stems on the work order, and one front tire has a CHROME stem... not a big deal aside from wasting my time to go back again.

today or tomorrow i get my misc parts collection:

pedal pads (but my parking brake pad always falls off!)
windsheild cowl rubber
tread lightly floor mats for front
center dash bezel to replace my cracked one
new main shift knob
bestop entry guards
new hood latch kit
front sway bar end links and frame bushings
lug nuts
+ "8" leaf spring bushings.. lol.. I need to find out if every leaf spring spot uses the exact same bushings. If they do, these bushings will go in my frame side of all 4 wheels. I saw the rear fuel tank issue for getting the rear shackle bolts out. That really sucks.

My parts list and jobs I did today:

pedal pads (installed)
windsheild cowl rubber (tomorrow)
tread lightly floor mats for front (installed, wow, nice)
center dash bezel to replace my cracked one (tomorrow)
new main shift knob (installed)
bestop entry guards (tomorrow)
new hood latch kit (installed)
front sway bar end links and frame bushings (installed.. omg... insanely hard)
lug nuts (installed)
+ "8" leaf spring bushings.. (who knows if i'll ever install these.. I have a Rough Country 2.5" lift on the way..)

I had to remove the upper side of my front track bar to get at one sway bar framne bracket bolt. I thought about just taking the track bar off.. I dont really know what it does. But 98% of my driving will be street, so I decided to leave it on until I can gather a bit more info on it.

The Bestop brackets. I ordered 2... The sent me 2. for ONE door.. now i have to order 2 more and wait another week.. and there are my front brackets I removed tonight. I might as well order them too.

My leaf spring bushings which I havent used yet. I am not looking forward to the job.

My new soft rubber pedal pads, instead of rock hard plastic.

My soft fresh windshield cowl gasket

My new shift knob. I didnt know it was textured... lol. my old one is smooth.

My new sway bar end links:

My Tread Lightly floormats

Got my front left leaf spring off as a test since I have a 2.5" RC kit coming in 2 days. Had no issues, all bolts came off like butter. I didnt even need to bring out my impact gun.

My 8 new leaf spring bushings work out just right, and I will have enough to do the whole truck now.
