AH. Thats why hijacking is not good. gets people off track. I really like BDS lift. Much more money but good kit.

well.. i did order that 2.5" kit anyway. cost is a factor for me, as much as i hate to admit it. i liked the kit also. I can add other parts later as needed. Like the "upper" shackle bushings i will need to replace.. sway bar frame bushings and end links.. new steering stabilizer.. but i want to take it slow. I'm going broke quick.

that has nothing to do with getting discount. Just call them when ordering and ask for the discount.

Dammit! I can't get my soft top on.. Problem with the rods with those press-in buttons.. The horizontal rod wont go far enough into the windsheild holder for the button to pop out.. I just can't figure it out.. ill edit in a pic in a sec..

All I can think of is the brackets got bent forward? I could bend then back and then i could probably get the rod in far enough to pop the button?

FIXED my weird door latches... You know how I had to use all my might to get them to close.. Like slam them as hard as I possibly could..

well i removed my stupid sliding windows.... now i can close my door with 1 finger...

and i inverstigated my door panel which doesnt stay popped in. I got it off. The first weird thing is those clips arent technically replaceable.. As there is no slot to take them out and slide in new clips.. I'm sure you could rig something, but its weird. I do want to keep my original door panels even if they are not in excellent shape.. Anyone dealt with new cilps? I might even want to paint my door panel fresh again, in the original green-ish color. Is there paint like that available?

I took out my rear seat tonight also.

This afternoon, I did my rear brake job. Drums, shoes, wheel cyls, hardware kits... OMG.. those wheel cillis sucked.. Rusted back fittings. I got real lucky and didnt strip anything out. I had to stop mid job and go buy a 3/8" flare wrench. I only have metric flares since I am usually an import guy.

Now I have all new brakes on all 4 corners. Put those original 4 shocks back in also, rides better again now.

threw some Pioneer 4" speakers in my sound bar today. Perfect bolt up, under stock grills. It had original speakers, they didnt even have any cone!! But they sounded killer.. LOL!

thanks, but those arent the right clips for my jeep. I have no screw going into my door panels like this one says.

Probably X-mas tree clips. Google it. Lots of different ones. Some are available at the "help" displays at auto parts stores like Auto Zone.

you are right. the only problem is there is no slot in the door panel to slide the old clip out and slide the new clip in.
