Did you copy the image tag off photobucket? I have a '93 Sahara edition, just like yours but mine is hunter green. I've had a lot of fun with mine and still am. Nice looking jeep.

Good looking Jeep.
I've been eying a '95 Sahara with 84k on that's at a dealership close to me lately They want 9 grand for it though They'd have to come way down for me to buy it, especially seeing yours for only $5

ya although KBB private party for my jeep in "good" condition was $5200.. This Jeep would barely qualify as good, and no one pays actual KBB prices these days. so at first I thought I didnt get a good deal. But then I think about 70k original plus brand new clutch and tires. Then the deal makes sense. (also a new windsheild 2 months ago).. no leaks that I can see. engine shakes a tiny bit at idle when stopped, but im used to brand new cars that are butter smooth. the tach is steady so i guess its ok. It just had a tune up a year ago too, so the plugs and cap/rotor are probably fine. Its been hot here, like 90F.. I floored it in 5th once and heard some pinging. I might check my timing.. i filled up today, this is an 18 gallon tank!! Cost me $55!! I used mid grade instead of cheapest just because of that pinging issue I had..

is it clean for a jeep? i thought its pretty good for 1993.
more work done, i cant keep my hands off it.
-i went to check the timing.. there are no specs on the hood sticker.. it says its non user adjustable.
-checked tire pressures, one was 26 and rest were 30. i like a firm tire so i raised them all to an even 36psi.
-found a brand new radiator and water pump still shiney. i was worried about water hoses getting old and popping but they dont feel crispy yet..
-no leaks EXCEPT for some transfer case seal issues.. entire engine compartment is dry top to bottom.
-checked oil, just at bottom of safe mark, so I might add a quart. 10W-30 for these things in Cali? I'll add a cheap one until I go full synthetic.
-my oil pressure is up around a solid 60psi most of the time, seems pretty strong.
-found a spark plug wedged behind my coil, removed it..
i want some more modern rims. i like modern oem rims. do i have steelies? i can't even tell. I know I have 5 lug nuts on each wheel. anyone know my bolt pattern so i can look up some new rims?
tomorrow i gotta smog it. i hope it passes.. then i can register it in my name.

-your a/c may need a good charge. does the blower work with your heat settings?
-the wipers are sitting correct, tis the righteousness of owning a YJ
-are your doors needing a 'lift' when closing or maybe just some PB blaster to loosen the mechanisms up a bit?
i'm sure more will chime in. nice YJ

thanks, so i have a YJ? cool. My doors dont need a lift at all. Its just the pressure it takes to slam the door latch over that sticker. The latch is very stiff it seems.
i guess no one will really know if i can just remove that Clifford alarm thing and trace all the wires. I guess I'll have to try. I saw some sort of module under my steering wheel. I'll have to trace all the wires.

ya my latches are stiff, too. slam it harder.
it is real nice for a 93. mine also had 70k miles on it. yes, it takes 10W-30

Your YJ has a 5 on 4.5" wheel bolt pattern. The YJ and the TJ have the same bolt pattern. Earlier Jeeps (CJ's) have a 5 on 5.5" bolt pattern. You'll have tons of options for wheels, both factory and aftermarket.
Nice find.
