Birds on roof rack

Got any ideas how to keep them off, just shy of a fake owl? They are using it as a purch and pooping all over my ride.

Hook it up to your battery. That'll keep them off.

use a dead bird. Once they see a dead one hanging they wont be back (I am sure you can find a dead on on the road some where)

Alka Seltzer in a bowl. You will have to deal with bird guts at first, but they no one will have to worry about birds.

Love the ideas. Very funny.
Unfortunately we only have a one car garage. I might just have to get a small tarp and throw over it each day. Would be a pain but better than all the poop.

Try running a wire an inch or so obove the rail. I've seen this done on docks to prevent the same problem. Just an idea but it should work.

Run a length of duct tape sticky-side out down the upper rail. The birds will hate the stickiness and roost elsewhere.
