Among many other things the YJ dash on the CJ just kills it for me.

38 foot tires!! I guess they need to be that big for the aftermarket 11 foot disk brakes. All riding on 4 foot yj lift springs! You know its been a project for a long time, its been years since RC had offered the 4' lift.

I would have to pass on this one. Over built.

Just noticed the lift blocks. Probably pushing 11inches of lift. Definitely not something I would want or need.

The only thing I'm interested in are the full hard doors. Couldn't give a rats a** about the rest of the build - it's not what I want on a CJ.

A WTF ditto on putting a YJ dash in a CJ.

I'd be more likely to pay $27,500 for a pristine, showroom quality, all original CJ. But not a Frankenstein mashup of a CJ like what's on that CL ad. I'd have to do too much work to rebuild the thing how I would want it.

Why in God's name would someone put a YJ dash in a CJ?

How can anyone justify such a ridiculous price on something like that?

Too many mods to list. Too awesome to sell.

For $27,500 you'd think he could have at least thrown a little rattle can action at the rusty welds and bare metal suspension parts.

Too "blingy" for my taste. The builder definitely didn't agree that less is more. Poor Jeep.

Hood scoops alone are worth 5K. Yes, for that price it's a steal.

He's trying to recover that "$15,000 in labor". Why do people build vehicles and then try to sell them? It's just stupid. He "had planned on keeping it forever"...or until 4,000 miles, whichever came first.

Yeah the dash....

I'll take the 383 though.

Mr. Madison, what you've just said ... is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard. At no point in your rambling, incoherent response were you even close to anything that could be considered a rational thought. Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it. I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

Yeah, any sane person would. But this story is too common for it to be true. You don't trade for Harleys and jet boats when you need money.
