I like my 2010 Wrangler but can't stand the lack of get-up-and-go. It sucks gas like there's no tomorrow and strains to get me to a highway speed of 70 mph. It gets there of course but it takes a minute, (okay a little exaggeration I know).

Anyway I am giving consideration to trading for a similar 2012 with it’s additional 85 HP. Why couldn't they have done this in 2010?

Anyone else thinking the same thing?

I doubt seriously Chrysler is going to back date ECU’s and make other mods to upgrade our wimpy models. Although…. I did get a complete ECU update the last time in the garage (last week) and it does shift smoother now. However if there was a power increase I can’t feel it.

If you're still upside down in payments on your JK, why not just get a RIPP supercharger and not get hosed in payments on a 2012?
