I've had my baby for 2 weeks now. I'm sure most people hate the chrome on Jeeps because it doesn't look tough enough...I'll admit I wasn't crazy about it a first. And then it grew on me. Oh, how it grew....I love it. I will run this thing until they don't make parts for it anymore! It is the most fun on four wheels a city-girl with a country husband can get!

I felt the same way! I was like it's too bright, too flashy and not me. Now I can't imagine a jeep of another color :-D I named mine Gordon, Gordy for short after Gordon Gecko from Wall Street lol :-)

Just got a Gecko myself last month. Wife hates the color but couldn't takes my eyes off of it once I saw it and had to have it. Seems people love or hate the color. Sister has Crush Orange and now wants the Gecko.

I owned a gecko green CJ at one point (before Jeep ever knew it was going to offer that color, or call it that)!

this is an old copy of an actual photo, the color was actually VERY close, and was retina-searing in direct sunlight
