Another TJ T-boned

My friend just called, he just got out of the hospital.
He told me that after our ride on Sunday, he was 4 blocks from home when a UN-licensed, UN-insured driver T-boned him. The guy hit him hard enough that it push the 1999 jeep up the curb into a yard and 25 feet more. The guy was going to do a hit-and-run, but his van was lock to the jeep and couldn't get free.
So, tomorrow I will go by and take pics and look over the jeep to see how bad it is.

The issue here with all the hit-and-runs is more with too many illegals being here. Maybe all the illegals are stoned.

Well, I didn't get a chance to go by and look at the jeep this afternoon. So, it will have to wait until Friday.
I hope the jeep is repairable, but than in the back of my mind it keeps popping up that hey, if it is totaled, I could probably talk him into selling it to me cheap. I could use the D44 rear-end, and some of the other parts.

It's not as bad as his phone call made me think.
It looks to me that it shifted the axle about an inch to the left. I can tell that the control arms are tweaked, and the track bar is bent, tie-rod and drag link, what else should we look for? Oh and yes, the radiator has a hole in it.
Is there any thing in the axle that I should be weary of?

I'll try and get some pics from under the front.
His tranny is going to need some work. It won't go into any gear. He told my he was in the process of shifting gears when the van hit.

I don't think you have to worry to much about him ...as I see he has a backup...the ugly green one you can see in the backround of the first pic....not nearly as badass as his blue one and needs to be cleaned up a bit but it should do until he can find a suitable replacement or repairs ole blue....

The ugly green one is mine. And so is the red cj2a in the bushes.
