Were you mad when "SUVs" stopped having frames, and became the replacement to the minivan?

Were you mad when auto transmissions came out?

Were you mad when they added electric start to cars?

You must be really cheesed about the Porsche Cayenne.

You're going to be really bothered when you see the new Mercedes announced yesterday:

Me, I am fine with whatever and whomever and don't get insulted if they don't want my old busted *** junk in their club.
I've been through a few sections of this forum with various Jeeps through the years, and I can honestly say what I find humrous is, I never see any of the newer jeep owners complaining or offended by older models Jeeps or their owners, but there sure seems to be a lot of the opposite...

Just like in real life, the grumpy old jeeps are always complaining about the snot nosed young kids walking around flashing their newest gadgets...

Why you mad, bro? Honestly, it's elitist mentality like the OP that makes me sick. So I haven't driven the Rubicon, Black Bear Pass, etc. etc. You know what? I really wish I could, but maybe one of these days. I do belong to my local club, but off-roading events are few due to not a lot of open areas to wheel at. We get together for what we can and have fun even if it is on pavement. Want to know why? It is inclusive of ALL jeeps. Any year, any make. We have brand new JKs rolling on 40s that look like they ran through a catalog and everything stuck. We have old military warriors still running their colors. We even (gasp!) have Cherokees! The only thing that counts is enjoying the jeep as a family and a culture. To the original poster, you sir are an elitist snob and an @55hole, and represent what is wrong with about everything when people create their little cliques to make them feel superior to others. Lighten up and realize that all these weekend warriors out there are driving the brand, and without them spending money you would not have jack to go play with. Sorry for the long rant and hope I didn't anger the mod gods.

You shouldn't, the corners of your lights fell off and your springs are all curled up. (yes I see the CJ5 in your sig, but it is still missing the head light corners)
