After wheeling

What all do you need to do? I am going to spray her down and get most of the dirt/mud off, but that else do you suggest?

Try and wash it off as soon as you can. Mud drying on things=trouble. I have seen guys paintjobs, brakes pads, and other things get messed up from mud staying on too long.

the sprinkler thing works great. do it everytime. I am challenged by my engine bay. I wash the chunks off but the gray coat just seems like its on there permanently. I am going to try some EB1 engine degreaser to see if that works. Anyone try it before for mud?

i was told pine sol and warm water works well too but while the engine is running so the heat and cleaning agents work togather.

I'm fairly sure if you de grease it you will remove all traces of wax and oil and the dirt will be more prone to stick to the clean, greasless surface.

I guess I'm just a lazy MFer, cause I just call a guy who comes & picks mine up, details it, & brings it back all sparkly for $25!
