5 Alcoa wheels off an '04 TJ RME - What are they worth?

I'm thinking about selling the 5 Alcoa wheels I took off my TJ. Can anyone give me an idea of what they would go for?

Call a junkyard and ask if they can get you one. When they quote you a price make yours about 80% of that and hit craigslist. Are they 7" or 8"? That is the big question.

They're 15x8's.

Never thought of the junkyard. Thanks.

On craiglist in my area, you can pick up a set for about $300 used.

Likely with tires.

MOAB's w/ tires are running $500 for all 5.

I was wondering about selling mine too. If this helps figuring out what you could possibly ask, you can buy them from Mopar. Go to the eparts section on the site and look up accessories for 2004 Jeep Wrangler and the second page on wheels you can find them (part number #82209350)

Here's the description:

Aluminum Wheels are available in either chromed plated, polished, or painted and have been treated in a durable clear coat finish. All wheels designed to meet Chrysler strength, corrosion and balance standards. Wheels are sold individually with center cap if required. Price shown per wheel

15""x8"", Polished, Forged Aluminum - Identical to wheel used on Rocky Mountain Edition, with Jeep center cap

And guess what they go for a piece!?!? $336 a piece!!!!

So for $300 a set, somebody got ripped

Like anything in a free market, they are worth what someone will pay for them.

They are nice wheels but with 5.5" of backspacing they are not very condusive to wide tires without spacers.

Ive been thinking about selling mine, tires included (Dayton Timberlands ATII, about 10/32 tread left), but idk how much I can really get for them. My main purpose is to put the cash towards a lift and bigger tires and wheels, but people advise me to just save rather then sell and worry bout them after the lift. Hmmm choices

Just check local CraigsList and go from there, you can always start high and then lower it. With CL listing being free you can't go wrong. Also depends on how fast you want them gone.

I would say $200-300 for the set of 5 if in perfect shape.

Recently there was a set of 5 Ravines (which I think is a great looking wheel) listed here in Dallas CL for $100. Probably worth close to that as scrap aluminum.
