4X4 GroupBuy.com reviews

Looking for suspension for my Jeep yesterday and ran across this web sight, 4x4 GroupBuys.com, and they had RE 3.5 kits for a good price. But after reading some of the reviews on the internet, thier reputation is sorta questionable. Has anyone on here had any dealings with them???

Thanks

i ordered some wheels thru them, then they sent me an email that said they could not ship the wheels to where i was at. so i had to email them like three or four times before they finally cancelled my order. that just seemed kinda shady to me. that is the only experience i have had with them. if you are in the states it might be a totally different story tho.

Not really tech, but...

I've ordered from them before & never had a problem

I've ordered various things from them over the years and have had good results. When I ordered my RE 5.5 kit, there was a delay from RE and 4x4 Group Buy called me every few days to keep me updated on my order. They even called to verify that I had received my order and to make sure I was happy.
I would not hesitate to use them again.

I've used them a few times for various things and had pretty good results. Most recently, I ordered some rampage headlights. They were back ordered but they gave me a date when they expected them and kept me updated. All in all I would buy from them again.

I have ordered from them many times. Jason was always a great guy to deal with. I have no problem recommending them.

I know this wasn't a tech question, but didn't know where else to ask....sounds like I might give them a try.
Thanks

I find that they have good prices but it is not worth dealing with them.

Savvy has a great kit with an Antirock included, check it out.

RE stuff does not hold up as well as others in my experience. Check out Clayton, Rock Krawler, Currie, Savy, Rokmen... look around local too.

Some good prices, but if you have to return something its a pain in the ***!

When I was regearing my ring and pinion, the parts ended up not being made correctly. So shipping them back to the company to get replacements, they kept making me run around in circles with being reimbursed for the shipping costs.

Never ended up getting my shipping cost back, so it was about the same price to purchase it from a legit dealer.

I give them a rating of Meh

Having known Jason since before he even founded 4x4 GroupBuy, I can attest to his character and honesty. All I can think of is perhaps he or his staff gets overloaded or behind at times, I know I'd buy from him if I had the need for parts he sells.

I ordered quite a bit of stuff from them a few years ago and had no problems whatsoever. I would happily order from them again.

I never had a Problem with them at all. They have always gone above and beyond for me.
When one of the axles from my super8.8 kit snapped (it was a manufacturing problem) superior would do nothing for me because I didn't buy direct from them. They told me it had to go through the retailer.
One call to Jason and Superior sent a replacement out to me next day air.
Jason also took care of me when they TBT cage I purchased through him was manufactured incorrectly.
Like I said, I have no problem recommending them

I orded a lift kit for my brothers TJ from them.
No problems and fast delivery.
You have to remember that they are 2nd party.
They do not stock the parts, only drop ship them from the retailers.
If the retailer or manufacturer has a problem then they do too.
