2013 JKUR & 2006 Magnum RT

Hey gang,

Just got back from my local Jeep dealer and I'm dangerously close to signing over my 2006 Magnum RT for a 2013 Unlimited Rubicon.(may need to throw in a coupla bucks)

I've done quite a bit of research on the JKUR and seem to get quite a variance on the MPG. Average seems to be about 17/21 city/highway. This jive with what you guys gettin outta the penstar real world? Obviously I'm talking mostly stock.

My Magnum does about 19mpg combined city/highway, and I can get 23-24 strictly highway real world driving.

Anyone own/owned both and have an opinion?

Magnum RT is the same as a 300c or Charger RT. Most people on this site are probably aware of this.

Any imput appreciated, Thanks. (wish me luck!)

Edit - 6 speed manual tranny.

Well I have driven my 2013 JKUR 6spd about 1000 miles (well balanced mix of highway and city) and the computer has averaged right around 18 mpg... I generally drive pretty conservatively but I give it a pull every now and then.
