It means that you don't have remote start.

I also have an 05 LJ. I matches the description and has all Identifying marks except the dash badge. The link to contact jeep doesn't seem to work. Is it still possible to find out if my jeep is one of the 1000.

Imperial Marketing is the company that is tracking the limited edition dash badges. Ask Glockster really nice and giive him your VIN and he might be able to find out for you. He has had great success with tracking down badge numbers for others, but he's doing it out purely of generosity so I cant speak for him. You'll have to ask him yourself

Hello To All,

I have important question to ask everyone here. Can anyone tell me the front and rear axle gear oil that is recommended for our 2005 Jeep LJ Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon Sahara, Heavy Duty Dana 44 (216mm) Tru-Lok Front and Heavy Duty Dana 44 (226mm) Tru-Lok Rear Axle Differentials? Also does it required an additive in both? I’m not entirely sure what the manufacture calls for and I want to make sure it’s the right kind so that I don’t damage either axle differentials.

Most Kind Regards,

alexanderrw

Most prefer to go with Mobil 1 75W-140. Pick up 5 bottles - 3 back and 2 front. Also you might look at getting some lubelocker gaskets instead of using RTV. Northridge 4x4 has them on their site.

...Also is there anyone out there that would recommend using the LubeLock Brand "Reusable" Differential Gasket like the one in the link below from Quadratec? And is it the right size for our Rubicon Sahara Dana 44 (216mm) Front Axle Differential?

Lubelocker LLR-D044 - LubeLocker "Reusable" Differential Gasket for Dana 44 Axle - Quadratec

Most Kind Regards,

alexanderrw

Yep, I use them and many others do to. That is the correct size - D44 for both.

Robert, here is a quick post I did when I changed my rear diff cover.

http://www.jeepforum.com/forum/f22/glocksters-rubihara-build-790196/index10.html#post8037237

The new SOLID cover has a much higher fill hole location but I still stuck to the recommended 2 quarts + 1-2 oz.

The Factory Service Manual states 1.89L (4.0 pints) for both front and rear diff. but I could not get 2 quarts in the front diff.
