YJ advice for a friend.

I've been out of the YJ game for tens years now. A buddy is looking at buying this. http://eugene.craigslist.org/cto/4133539496.html

What do you guys think a fair price is?

I wouldn't even waste my time looking at that. NO YJ is worth that price unless its made of gold. Keep looking, this guy wants to recoup his $ he has put into it.

Fair price "1993 JEEP WRANGLER/HARD TOP/AUTO TRANS/TOW PACKAGE $5,200.00" add ons extras and stuff don't add value to the jeep. If everything was done right $7k would be a high offer IMO.

No one can or should get their "money back" from all the toys they have added to a Jeep. Modifications do not add value as the prior poster said. Keep away from this one, in my opinion. How many miles does it have on it?? If your friend must buy it, $7,000 would be my max offer.
