wondering question

i got a real nice 99 grand cherokee laredo 4.0 4x4 but had the cracked head i did the swap to the 0630 head only to find out the main bearings and oil pump is ruined theres no oil at all going up the last three push rods i replaced from lifters up even water pump had the radiator flushed . the owner i got from that the head cracked on had to of ran it to much with the water in oil is the only thing i can figure. its not knocking but the lifters are rattling from low oil presure and no oil presure on the last three push rods . they are rocking really good so i know its not a bad new lifter problem . im wanting to do a lt1 injected chevy 5.7 swap for more HP and to me more relaible engine.

but what i did find was a 97 grand cherokee laredo 4.0 4x4 i could do the engine swap on but it just needs a front clip put on her son hit a tree i cant see any frame damage was hit in the passenger head light they took everything off already that was damaged the metal pan holds lights and stuff behind the grill is bent . but thats a unbolt and new one bolted on. im wondering if i can unbolt my whole front clip on my 99 and use it on the 97 for temp til i do my engine swap on the 99 i'll need to remove the front clip off it to do the swap anyways. im wondering if it will just bolt on or will i have to do some fab work?
