what is there to know about the '00 Grand?

My parents are looking at a a 2000 Grand Cherokee.
I'm more a CJ/XJ/TJ/YJ guy so I'm not to familiar out side the basics.
It is a 4.7L, 4spd auto, axle ratio is 3.55

They want me to take a look. What is there to know.
what are the known issues with the powertrain?
I don't really know anything about the 4.7.
How many miles are the likely to go.
If my parents got it it would do ALOT of interstate mileage, as in every shopping trip is 100 miles away.
What is parts availability and price like?
I'd be concerned about all the electronic stuff going out/causing issues.
Any help appreciated,
