Looking at another jeep. 2003 tj but it is being sold as TMU true mileage unknown. Other that the odometer not working at one point how concerned should I be? The price is very good and looks like great shape. any down falls?

I wouldn't be too concerned if the Jeep looks ok otherwise. Keep in mind that a TMU vehicle has very little value on trade or at auction, so you should be able to get it for very cheap. Also, technically any jeep with bigger tires and no regear is TMU since the speedo is off!

Not worried about resell or trade. I have a 97 now and was looking at the 2003 to lift and so on and sell the 97. I know you have not seen it but what price for a 2003 tj auto with hard top would be good with the mileage not true? I looked a KBB but that really is no help. Thanks

I wouldn't pay anyting more than half of what Kbb says it should go for in good condition. Even if you aren't worried about the resale value in the future, it applies to your purchase at this time. Don't be the guy that pays too much for a TMU vehicle!
