Should I trade for a '99 Wrangler Sport

Hi - New to the forum, thought I'd say HI and get some feedback.

I am about to trade for a '99 Wrangler Sport. 4.0, 5 spd, hard top, hard doors, 193k miles, Kenwood CD with sound bar. Windshield cracked, driver's door off track. Buyer was asking $5k. He said he'd give me the Jeep and $200 for my '03 MINI Cooper S (loaded, 139k miles, I was asking $6k).

I know what to look for before I do the deal, as I actually spent a week reading all the details on the sticky for buying Jeeps. I hope my attachment pics work!
Thanks!

I paid 5k for a 1999 Sahara, stock with a hardtop with 227k miles. Sold the top for 700.00.

What does Kelly Blue Book or Edmunds say about a 14 year old jeep with close to 200,000 miles on it? What do they say about the value of the 11 year old Cooper? Find out and then do the math.

Oh yeah. What does "the driver door off track" mean? What is the rust situation?

The Jeep comes in around $4800 KBB, and the Cooper at $5500. Seller claims that the Jeep is more valuable than KBB because they sell faster and are worth more than it says.
It has very little rust, none in the tub and just a little at the pass corner of the windshield. The driver's door window zipper jumped teeth and is no longer able to be zipped/unzipped.

I would think that the Cooper is just as desirable to their market niche as the Jeep is to theirs. Instead of $200 difference $700 is much more in line. Tell the seller that the Cooper is more valuable than KBB says because they sell faster, and college girls think they are cute.

Two can play the "stupid statement" game.

Also let the seller know that "If he likes his Jeep, he can keep it".
