Noob!
I did a little research but didn't really find the answer i was looking for. Hopefully sometime in the near future i want to pick up a jeep. Wich one most likley a wrangler, i don't know that's why i'm here. I want one cheap to lift as i read that it should have leafs if lifted for cheapness, what year's where the leafs in the jeep. I'd mainly be using it for some pretty harsh trails, real tight different elevations, and nice soupy mud. I don't want to lift it to the sky at the most 37" tires most likley 35"s. If i'm leaving out crucial info please let me know.

Yes Sir,
you did just a little research. I would highly suggest you do some more by reading a bunch of the Tech sections here. Hunter

Sir,
Nothing that is lifted with 35s or 37s is going to be cheap. Most of the lifted Jeeps around here have had a lot of money put into them. Hunter

the wrangler with leafs would be the YJ ('87-'95)
that will be "cheaper" but you also have to look into a lot of things like upgraded steering/braces etc when thinking about 37's. Not to mention axle swaps. the YJ never came with a d44 so you would have to at least swap the rear axle and chromo the front d30 to run 35's. 37's would have to replace both. dont just jump into something like this, do some research and maybe start out a bit smaller so that you get the hang if what is needed when modifying a specific piece. -Kyle
