It's very possible to do. Enlist the assistance of someone (dad, brother, grandma, whoever) with the tools and prior knowledge to give you a hand. Engine swaps are pretty major, but if you are already doing work yourself, you can do it.
However, if you can get the '93 6 cylinder, why not drive that instead of your '91 4 cylinder?

I'd usually suggest having the entire donor vehicle available to take parts from. Sounds like you have that part under control. Take the grille, fenders and hood off. Wranglers are fairly straight forward. I always take tons of pics as I do anything. It helps if you have to go back and look at how something goes back together. Label everything. Good luck.

IMO it would be not worth the time and effort to do the swap for the minimal power gains of the 6cyl while significant compared to the 4cyl, it still would not be worth it. You would probably be better off swapping the parts from you current 4cyl on to the 6cyl frame, and drivetrain. Engine swaps are not easy or cheap even if you get the parts for cheap. If you dad has the know to do it, they are very straight forward though.

Am I missing something here? why is it not running? Could be a lot of expensive reasons....failed ECM? Ignition? Can you do a compression test on it? Dont get a non running donor for the motor!
Is yours auto or stick?
If you do the swap, remember you need the EMC too, wiring harness & if going auto to stick, pedals, shift etc. Motor swaps not rocket science as long as you tag EVERY wire, hose , plug & are patient. Some may do it in a day...plan for 4 and celebrate/brag if you do it in less , read, read, read!
