By current mileage standards that is a bit high. I currently have a 2013 JK that will be 1 year old on 24 feb. I just rolled 28,000 miles. I suggest taking it to a mechanic/someone you trust and have it looked over. If the party you are buying it from has receipts/proof of routine maintenance that is another good sign. Good Luck

Too much $$ just for comparison purposes i paid $15,500 for my 08 2 dr with 60,000 miles. A buddy from my work paid $18,000 for a brand new jku 2008 with the rare lifetime powertrain warranty.

My 08 has 110000 and counting. Limited issues and I'd bet this thing is gunna hit 250k without any issue. Just look it over and make sure to test drive it. Before this Jeep all of mine had well over 100k when I bought them.

Price is a bit steep but negotiation comes later.

OK, you need to do some research. First of all check pricing on Kelleys Blue Book, NADA and/or Edmunds. This will give you the pricing range for this vehicle which is the first thing you should know. Then when you find one you want to buy, do a Carfax check. Will cost a few dollars, but could save you thousands.
Search your local craigslist, ebay motors, and other "cars for sale" type websites.

Then read everything you can find about the JK on this forum as well as everything you can about buying vehicles.

Knowledgeable customers rarely get taken to the cleaners by shady dealers.

By the way, "only $14,000" for a 7 year old vehicle would not be considered a deal by many.

Its definitely not a deal when one with 1/2 to 1/3 of the miles can be had for 2-3k more. Also if at a dealership request a carfax, don't pay for one. If they won't provide it to you Id walk.
