Looking for a Wrangler

Looking for some advice here, I found a YJ that I am interested in but have some concerns. It will mostly be used for a DD with a few trips a year to the trails. This particular one has a Detroit in the rear and a Lock Right in the front. I live in IL so I have to deal with snow. I have read a lot about daily driving with a Detroit but I am still undecided. The jeep has the 4.0 with a 5spd, 65,000 miles, 35" tires and 4.56 gears.

If I decide I dont want the Detroit, can I remove it?

That's really low miles for a YJ, how much are they asking for it?

$5000 OBO. We already came to a lower price over the phone if I decide to go look at it. It is about 2 hours away. It also has a winch and very minimal rust (most jeeps I look at dont even have floors).

I'm not to familiar about lockers (never had them on my Jeeps) so I don't know how they would be as DD's or how hard it would be to remove, but that seems like a good price for what your getting even better if you've talked him down more from 5,000

Any more input? Especially on the lockers.

If it really is that low mileage YJ with minimal rust you should snatch it up now or it will be gone by this evening. If it isn't then its a POS and not worth your time. a low mileage minimal rust YJ like that is worth quite a bit more than $5k

Should I be concerned about the lockers in stock axles?
